Key Points from the Chapter

1. Interface Layout:

   • The main screen is divided into three sections:
     • Main Menu
     • Desktop with Floor Plan Visualization
     • Information Console (bottom section)

2. Main Menu Overview:

   • The Blue Control Icon at the top left opens a menu with options like:
     • New Project & Templates
     • Open, Save, Save As
     • Export & Load Projects
     • Firmware Updates
     • Central Unit Configuration
     • Settings & About

3. Project Tab:

   • Information Section: Displays project name, version, and settings.
   • Floor Section: Manage floor plans (add, edit, delete).

4. Controls & Functions Tab:

   • Controls Tab: Access to device types (Central Units, Sensors, Heating, Regulators, etc.).
   • Functions Tab: Enables automation between devices (e.g., connecting objects, creating macros).

5. Management Tools:

   • Group Manager – Create/modify device groups.
   • System Manager – Define system devices.
   • Monitor – Check real-time device status.

6. Floor Plan & Device Setup:

   • Allows drag-and-drop of devices, linking them to real-world elements.

7. Simulation Tab:

   • Tests functions and connections before real-world implementation.

8. Information Console (Bottom Section):

   • Displays system events, errors, user permissions, and central unit status.
   • Errors can be reviewed and deleted.
